Jane Harris grew up and lives in Zurich, Switzerland. An expressive painting style with many colors is characteristic for her work. She prefers to use big-formatted canvas, because she likes to project the most of her body energy into an image. Her main painting color is acrylics and her favourite motive to paint is the human being. She starts an image with a figure and subsequently lets it's surrounding and structure develop. It's an interplay between planning and coincidence.
